Hello
SSAE-16/SOC 1

MIAC successfully completed SSAE-16/SOC 1 engagement. SSAE 16 is the attestation standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) geared towards reporting on the design of controls and their operating effectiveness. The SSAE 16 replaces the previous SAS 70 audit Type II audit that MIAC had completed since the passage of Sarbanes-Oxley. The change from SAS 70 to SSAE 16 brings U.S. service organizations up to date with new international reporting standards, ISAE 3402. MIAC’s SSAE 16/SOC 1 was conducted by Grant, Thornton, LLP, one of the six global audit, tax, and advisory audit firms in the United States. www.gt.com
